Os Giken's new 3.15 liter kit, which is built up from a Nissan N1 block, is different form other stroker kits on the market, in that it is effectively a brand new engine right out of the box.  As an answer to the discontinued 3.2 liter kits based on the tough Nismo blocks, the new 3.15 liter kit have the double advantage of being both stronger than stock and readily available.   "The engines arrive from Japan fully built, with new billet crank, billet rods and forged pistons.  The main bearing studs are upgraded, and Nismo bearings are used throughout the bottom end for maximum reliability.  The size of the main bearings is slightly wider too, for improved strength and longevity."

After describing the installation of the 3.15 liter Os Giken engine by the RB Motorsport team, the article continues to outline other upgrades to the GT-R, including conversions and modifications to the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, wheels and tyres, as well as improvements made to the the exterior and interior of the car.  The article includes the full specifications for Martin's 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34.  Download the full article here.
